My Universe, My Work

Welcome to my little world! This space is a reflection of the various worlds I navigate—each one shaping who I am and what I create. From my professional journey to personal passions, this site offers a glimpse into the different realms I explore, grow in, and contribute to. Whether it's through my work as a Software Engineer, my dedication to school, or my engagement with hiking, each section showcases a different facet of my story. I invite you to dive in and explore these worlds with me!
I completed my Bachelor's at University of Calgary. This is where I discovered the potential of coding and started on my tech journey. This program introduced me to new coding languages, web development, big data, and embedded systems. I completed my journey here by aquiring my bachelors in Software Engineering in 2018.
I decided to continue my academic degree. I decided to enroll in University of California Berkeley where I am currently completing my Masters in Data Science. As AI continues to evolve, it has become essential to involved in this space. This degree has introduced me to machine learning fundamentals, advanced models and its various applications. The most exciting applications include computer vision, time series modelling, and Natural Language Processing. During my time here, the ethics behind model development have become a keen interest of mine. I will be completing my journey here in May of 2025.
I entered the proffessional world as an intern with IBM. Here I go the opportunity to work on one of the most widely used databases, DB2.
After graduating, I formally started my career by rejoining IBM to work on their appliances team. Here I once again got the chance to work with the DB2 product, this time as a member of the disaster recovery team.
I decided to enter the world of cloud computing! I joined AWS with a network security team in charge of TLS termination for a large portion of AWS products.
In an effort to expand my skills, I got the chance to work with another team within AWS, API Gateway. This exposed me to what it means to work truely at scale!
We're still working on adding more cool things here! Come back later to see more about the data science projects in the work!
